Software Engineer (.NET)

Job Description

  • Kandysoft Australia Pty Ltd (KSAU) is looking for a .NET Software Engineer to work in our Adelaide, Australia office.

  • KSAU specialises in building bespoke cloud applications for SMEs, Accounting Industry, and the financial industry in Australia and New Zealand. The software projects that KSAU has developed won AiiA awards for best financial industry application in 2011.   • As .NET Software Engineer, your role will be focused on high-level technical solution designs and the development, configuration and maintenance of web solutions for our clients.

Technical Skills

  • At least 8+ years of experience in designing and developing cloud-based, accounting and financial services industries, public-facing applications as a developer

  • Proficiency in .Net, .Net Core/.NET 6/7, C#, SQL Server, Azure Functions, HTML, CSS/SASS, JavaScript/TypeScript, , Angular and SSRS

  • Extensive knowledge in Telerik Progress Kendo UI and SpreadJS components

  • Ability to design and develop Advanced Power BI Dashboards/Solutions

  • Experience in Git, REST/GraphQL, Azure DevOps/GitHub, Azure Pipelines/GitHub Actions, and microservices

  • Familiarity with unit testing and integration and end-to-end testing

  • Experience with Agile Scrum, task breakdown, and knowledge base documentation using Markdown

  • Knowledge of legacy stacks, such as ASP Classic, ASP.Net Web Forms, jQuery, Visual Basic, and Crystal Reports, is desirable

  • Extensive knowledge of accounting applications such as MYOB Business, Xero Accounting, and QuickBooks (Intuit and Reckon).Good understanding of Practice Management solutions such as MYOB Practice Manager, Reckon APS, CCH (UK) and IRIS (UK)

  • 5+ years of integration application development experience using MYOB, QuickBooks systems (cloud and desktop), and Xero API’s.
